  I was a HOCON customer until I sold my house on 9/30/16. They came out to read the tank meter that day and advised that the new owner had signed up with them. HOCON would collect the value of the gas left in the tank form him and then issue a check to me. It would take 2-3 weeks to process. Simple enough. With no check by late October, I called and was told I should have it within a week. I called again today (11/10/16) and was told I will have the check next week which will be 6-7 weeks after my closing. Not exactly top-notch customer service. The rest of their service, while I had service with them, was OK.

  From first contact, purchase of gas fireplace, installation, running gas lines and putting in a new tank and coordinating with the town - they were on top of everything. Very pleased
